How to play Whack-a-Scam
Scammers pop up out of nine holes: the phisher, the rug, the pump, the fake support bot, the free-coins box, the 2X giveaway and the fake CEO. Tap or click each one before it ducks back down. You have 30 seconds.
- Each scammer you hit scores 10 points.
- Hit scammers in a row to score up to four times as much.
- Friends pop up too: a puppy, a kitten, a hamster, a panda, a bunny. Hit one and you lose 30 points, and your run starts over.
The scammers come faster as the clock runs down.
What you learn
When the clock stops, the game shows one word from the Cryptominium crypto library, with a link to its full page. It is one of these: phishing, fake airdrop, giveaway scam, rug pull, impersonation scam or deepfake scam. Want the real thing? Try Scam or Legit?, where you spot the tell in real-looking messages.

Where is my high score kept?
In your browser, on your device. There is no leaderboard.
Can I play on my phone?
