The Crypto Oracle

Ask the crystal ball for your crypto fortune. Thirty to find, each with what the stars really say. Fortunes, never advice.

How to play The Crypto Oracle

Tap the crystal ball, or press Space or Enter. It shakes, then gives you a fortune in three parts:

  1. The fortune, a joke. "A stranger will offer to double your coins."
  2. What the stars really say. "They won't. 'Send 1, get 2 back' is the oldest giveaway scam there is."
  3. The Oracle's word, from the Cryptominium crypto library, with a link to its full page.

There are 30 fortunes to find, and the Oracle keeps count of how many you have seen. Ask again for a new one. Found a good one? Share it.

What you learn

Most fortunes are about a scam or a basic crypto word. Among them: giveaway scam, pig butchering, seed phrase, recovery scam, honeypot token, token approval, address poisoning, hardware wallet, gas and oracle manipulation.

Will the Oracle tell me where a price is going?

No. No fortune says where any price is going. The closest it comes: "The market will go up. Or down. Possibly sideways." Nobody knows, this Oracle included.

Is it free?

Yes. Free to play, with nothing to buy.

Where is my count kept?

The fortunes you have found are saved in your browser, on your device. Nothing about you is sent anywhere.

Can I play on my phone?

Yes. Tap the ball.

Is this advice?

No. Fortunes are for fun, never advice.

Do I need a wallet or an account?

No. There is no sign-up and nothing to connect. Open the page and play.
