How to play Catch the Pump!
Coins and candles rain from the sky. Drag your basket, or use the arrow keys, to catch them. You have 45 seconds and three lives.
- A coin is worth 10 points.
- A green candle is a pump: 25 points.
- A red candle is a dump and takes 15 points away.
- A rug bomb costs a life. Catch three and you are rugged.
- A mystery box gives a bigger basket, slow motion, or an extra life.
The longer you play, the faster things fall.
What you learn
When the round ends, the game shows one word from the Cryptominium crypto library, with a link to its full page:
- Pump and dump: organizers hype a little-known coin, then sell their own coins into the buying rush.
- FOMO, the fear of missing out that keeps a pump going.
- Volatility: how much and how fast a price moves up and down.
- Liquidity: how easily something can be bought or sold at a fair price.
